Midlands Energy Consortium awarded two Doctoral Training Centres
In the EngD centre for Efficient Power from Fossil Energy and Carbon Capture students will work towards engineering doctorates in areas crucial to the on going battle against climate change, given that coal and gas will be responsible for most of the electricity generated globally for the forseable future
The DTC on Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and their Applications will produce new generations of PhD level graduates trained and expert in the new sustainable technologies of the future.
